By the time the World War I and 2 was at its peak, the main 2 participants namely United States of America and Germany, were engaged in the different war altogether – it was the war of propaganda. One question which has beguiled social scientists and war experts for years is – how can communication be utilised to create a rift in the society? It was well-known back then that once the society was weakened with propaganda it became much easier for enemies to break it down. Through the use of propaganda, world powers have done many good things but one cannot say that propaganda will always be used for good!

Very recently, we have seen propaganda being used in a very negative way. It has hurt the sentiments of not just the normal Indian, it has indeed broken down many by attacking their trust and love for a person whom they had come to consider as their sole leader – in matters of the heart and that of the soul.

In 1922, a famous expert on propaganda, Walter Lippman published his work known as the Public Opinion. In it he explains his theories on the formation of public opinion he uses the example of a situation that occurred in 1914 which involved three nations namely Germany, France and United Kingdom. His work covered various aspects of how these three countries tried to enforce the law on an island where people were living peacefully for several centuries. These three countries had brainwashed the Islanders into fighting among themselves. The very premise of conducting propaganda is creating some sort of barrier between the public and the event. When this separation occurs, it becomes easy to manipulate and present limited information to the public

. Lippman showed how individuals used media to form their opinions. Media affected the judgement of the people and their imagination and propagandists used this to change the perception of those who accessed media on a regular basis. Now of course we need to understand that the Islanders did not have Internet connections or newspapers but they had access to something primitive but equally powerful as today's TV channels and newspapers. Lippman recognised that by altering the flow of information and limiting the truth in content the public can be forced into forming the wrong perception of the world.

Media Resumes its series of unfounded news, Says Pujya BapuJi has 10,000 Crores!

Just when we thought that paid media channels had learned its lessons, another round of unverified news have started making the rounds. In the last few days we have been seeing news that talk about Pujya BapuJi being the owner of 10,000 crores! Before we get deeper into that, there are three questions that must be asked.

1. Who are the people making such allegations?

2. How true are these news?

3. Should it make any difference in the case even if there was any truth in it?

The Surat Police has made this statement on record, so perhaps it is true, but let us take a moment and take a look at the following.

1. Wasn't the Surat Police rebuked for falsely declaring Narayan SaiJi an absconder? This despite the fact that he was exercising his constitutional rights and not doing anything illegal.

2. The Rohini Court rebuked Surat police for not bringing important documents to court. Instead the police tried to present evidence on WhatsApp

Even more important is the fact that never for once AsaramJi Bapu has spoken of such wealth ever to his Sadhaks or in public, moreover the media does not have a very clean track record of presenting the truth. Former KGB agents have said that media is an immensely powerful body and it can be used to mould perceptions and prejudices in the public. Even if the sum exists, it would not be hard to understand that with crores of fans it would not take too long or too much of an amount to reach that amount. Therefore, it is of utmost necessity that we consider all of this before believing any of the media stories that have begun appearing recently.

Collective roar of Sant Samaj demands quick action in Pujya Bapuji case

In response to the act of sabotage that is being carried out by detractors, the greater Sant Samaj gathered in Surya Nagri in Jodhpur. The motive of this gathering was to awaken the society to the truth about AsaramJi Bapu's case. A mass gathering was addressed by eminent Saints present at the occasion and educated about the conspiracy plotted and executed by the enemies of the society. Speakers who took to the stage pointed in the direction of Christian Missionaries who saw BapuJi as their sworn enemy and maligning him was nothing but a part of the greater ploy of tainting Hinduism and the Sanatana Dharma. The outcome of that same strategy was imprisonment of Sankaracharya, Swami Nithyanand and Jayendra Saraswati.

When allegations were made against a judge, the government instituted an inquiry commission to find the truth, but when similar charges were made against an established and popular Saint like AsharamJi Bapu, nothing was done, instead he was jailed immediately.

It was further announced that Sants were planning to meet with the President of India and even sit on a Jail Bharo Andolan if their demands were not met at the earliest. Besides announcing their plan to move judiciary for justice, they also inspired masses to unite and raise their voice for justice.

Increasing involvement of political and social movers in BapuJi's case is evidence of the growing support that he has been getting recently. Renowned Bollywood personalities and famous politicians from all over the nation are thronging to Sant Sammelans to offer their unconditional support to his cause. A call was made to all present on the occasion to rise to bring Pujya Shree out of jail.

The Truth About Hindu Saints

There has been several attempts at twisting the truth and putting words in the mouth of people and accrediting loathsome activities and actions to holy saints who have no connection to any of that and more worryingly there is nothing that is even remotely connected to the truth.

Ashram has been actively participating in welfare activities very actively in the northern part of the country as well as in other places throughout the length and breadth of the nation. A lot of effort has gone into delimiting and obliterating the truth but no effort has fructified yet or will fructify ever. Today everywhere naysayers are questioning why AsaramJi Bapu is not performing any miracle? To this ridiculous question, Saints assembled at the Motera convention answered that Pujya BapuJi is not a magician and therefore it is unrealistic to expects something of that sort from him. Swami SantoshanandiJi Maharaj said accomplished Sants like HH AsaramJi Bapu do not plan miracles, they happen. It is necessary that everyone understands and believes in the greatness of these great men and respect them. Unlike what ideally should have been the case, we are seeing something entirely contradictory to that. Conspirators are not only totally oblivious to his greatness but also to the sentiments of those who follow AsaramJi Bapu from the core of their heart.

For the conspirators Swami SantoshanandJi had a request and a prayer. He wanted them to come and attend Satsang sessions and learn the great lessons and age old wisdom from none other than Pujya BapuJi. He said that listening to BapuJi and saints like him is how these conspirators will be able to acquire godly knowledge and begin treading on the right path. It is also mentioned in holy scriptures that Mother Ganga once asked Lord Shiva what would happen to her during Kalyug which is the age of sins. To this Lord Shiva said that in Kalyug Saints will come to earth and they will purify Ganga each time they take a dip in her. That is how significant Saints are for the welfare of the nation and nature.

The truth is that HH AsaramJi Bapu is a superhuman force who that could not be shaken or hurt even in the face of a disaster. It will still be remembered by all how despite a helicopter crash HH AsaramJi Bapu emerged unhurt and helped all those around him to escape without a scratch. If it was not for his superhuman stature it would have impossible for someone to deliver a feat so superhuman.

Revelation of the Truth

The truth can never be kept hidden for long and one day or the other it has to come to the fore. Certain section of the media has left no stone unturned to cook up stories of the most absurd nature on more than one occasion and in many cases they have crossed their boundaries when they picked on innocent citizens in order to strengthen their case. The case of Nanhi Damini is still fresh in the minds of everybody when certain media channels had portrayed the innocent minor girl in extremely poor light entirely for their personal gains and nothing else.

There are many such cases and here are some of those.

Bholanand: This was the man who was shown across media channels as Acharya Bholanand. This thug claimed that there are human skeletons buried under Pujya Shree's Jammu Ashram. The truth was however completely different from that. The real name of the person is Braj Bihari Gupta and he was the caretaker of an Ashram running under the auspices of Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu. This man was in cahoots with the conspirators and was acting at their behest. In order to implicate the saint he contacted a law abiding citizen Vikrant Sharma and asked him to exhume three skeletons from a nearby burial ground and bury them under the Ashram. The truth came to fore when Vikrant contacted the police and explained the truth. Since then Bholanand has been arrested for conspiracy and his bail plea has been rejected! This is the truth and media did not do anything to bring it out in public.

Abortion in ashram: The second most scandalous false allegation that shocked Sadhaks and millions of followers all over the nation was the abortion racket. According to this allegation, there was a 'room no. 302' where abortions were carried out. News channels have alleged that Dhruv Behen used to carry out these abortions! Dhruv Behen who has been connected with the organization since 1986 summarily rejected this case and her story was later reinforced by investigations carried out by the Gujurat Women Commission. This is the truth but nothing of that sort was reported in news channels.

Sevadar Shiva desolation allegation: The next allegation that was cooked by conspirators was that of Sevadar Shiva. According to news reports, this mad was a deserter and he had abandoned his wife and children, whereas the truth was that media showed someone else. It was an impersonator called Suresh Chaudhuri. Not only did media create his kids out of thin air, they also made him a villain out of him for no reason.

There are countless such cases that if we follow closely will expose the real face of the conspirators.

Justice Cannot be Delayed Anymore

Delay in delivery of justice is the worst form of injustice and the more time the law takes in exonerating Pujya BapuJi the tougher it will be for the masses to regain their faith on the justice mechanism of the nation.

It is unfortunate how the buck is being passed from one to another and back again instead of focusing on delivery of justice. In previous attempts, the plea for bail did not come to any conclusion because either the defence or the prosecution was busy blaming one or the other on one pretext or other. On the last occasion, the prosecution alleged defence of deliberately extending the case unnecessarily. To this the judge directed that all parties be presented before the court together. Meanwhile the septuagenarian Spiritual Leader has highlighted on numerous occasions how shabbily he has been treated all this while. He complained of pain and cold in the barracks and also of less than appropriate lavatory provided by undertrails.

This will be the third attempt for bail and the case is very strong this time round. Even in previous instances the counsel appearing on behalf of Pujya Shree had made a very strong case in favour of BapuJi and highlighted the need for bail. It therefore remains to be seen whether the law takes the right path this time.

We are not unaware of the forces that have a sinister motive to bring Hinduism down on its knees and this will continue in the future as well but someone of the significance should not have been targeted. Not only has this eroded the trust of the general public on media channels and judiciary mechanism but also on the politicians who have conspired with foreign forces to introduce and establish western culture in this nation.

Those who have planned to insult Hindu Saints have faced the wrath of the common man and if justice is continuously denied there will be retaliation.

The nation wants to know why judgements biased for justice Swatenter and Asaramji bapu

Media trials and the nightmares they have caused to countless people all over the nation is not new any more. Too many people have lost their lives and their reputation to indiscrimination shown by media. We have seen how inventive some media channels become in their treatment of some issues that could have been handled with some subtlety and care. Unfortunately that was not the case, instead when victims complained and asked the court to take action against guilty parties there was not more than a lukewarm response. In great contrast, when Justice Swatenter Kumar was accused of similar charges as that AsaramJi Bapu, the Delhi High Court issued restraining orders on media and gave it 24 hours to remove all defamatory content from websites. The court further asked media houses to refrain from carrying anything about Justice Swatenter until February 24 which is the next date of hearing.

The nation will remember that recently some media channels sacrificed all ethical propriety in their blind pursuit of TRPs. It was then that several parties pleaded with authorities to prevent media from spreading false news. It took several months for that to happen and the media channels to actually stop from continuing with their lopsided presentation of facts.

This stark contrast in action in case of Justice Kumar and AsaramJi Bapu has baffled many social thinkers into thinking why something was not done earlier for AsaramJi Bapu. Those that handled the case were sympathetic and quite considerate of the harm such late allegations bring on defendants, who in some case may have deceased by the time legal process are initiated.

Attempt to sully Pujya Shree Bapuji's name takes new turn - New Charges Pressed

In a new development that has happened at the beginning of the New Year has proved how desperate enemies of Pujya Shree BapuJi have become. The new claim is that police has found close to 100 eye witness to strengthen the case against AsaramJi Bapu. The new chargesheet filed on January 9th, 2014 is 1000 page long and presses charges under IPC 377 alleging Bapu of having unnatural sex and oral sex in 2001 and again in 2005. These new charges were filed in a Gandhinagar court. The Spiritual leader is already undergoing investigation for similar charges in Rajasthan.

New twist to the case

Apart from the charges that were already pressed against him, there were some additional ones that were brought against him this time round. The most controversial of those was 201 of the IPC. This section of the IPC is brought for destruction of evidence. The prosecution side has brought these allegations because it is of the view that AsaramJi had changed locations one after the other in order to destroy evidence.

It must be remembered that all of these including the ones that are already in force against BapuJi are all fabricated and baseless and goes on to show the desperation and fear of the conspirators which has become more evident with supporters uniting in favour of a bail for their leader.

More bogus and false cases to defame Hindu saints

Just like previous cases that have been brought against Hindu Saints in the past which saw the imprisonment of countless innocent religious leaders of the nation, this is something very similar to that. Just as in other cases when these Holy men were jailed and tortured to no end, Kind BapuJi is also enduring hardships of similar nature. It is not surprising therefore that it will take time for the truth to surface. We only wish that the process is expedited and best resources are used to ensure the delivery of justice. The delay is not only demotivating supporters it is also making them lose trust on the judiciary and law enforcement.

Prominent lawyer wants to know why Sant Shree Asaramji Bapu was booked under IPC

The question that has been raking the consciousness of millions around the world will not be subdued unless we have an answer from the judiciary and law enforcement - and the question is why was Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu arrested under POCSO and IPC 376 when the medical report said nothing about grievous injuries that are always associated with rapes? No one wants to answer and that has only strengthened our belief in the fact that bigger powers are at play against our Saintly BapuJi.

BM Gupta who is a prominent lawyer in Gujurat was interacting with Sadhaks through a popular TV channel where he raised the same question we have been asking all these months.

Our world is on the verge of destruction because it is under the burden of crimes and sins committed by million sinners. If not for the Holy Saints like BapuJi, destruction was inevitable long ago. The lawyer also goes on to explain the fact behind the death of Dipesh and Abhishek. It must be noted that the murder case of these kids was laid on BapuJi, whereas in reality, these two kids had wandered off on that faithful day and took a bath in the swelling river that was full with flood waters. The unfortunate kids lost their lives purely to an accident and not what the media is trying to insinuate.

The reason for BapuJi's incarceration is his great humanitarian works he has done in Jharkhand and Gujurat to bring Hindus back into the fold. BapuJi provides financial aid and food to people who belong to backward sections of the society. This puts him at loggerheads with the Christian missionaries that have been converting Hindus to Christianity. For too long they were defeated in their motives by our Saintly BapuJi. Only recently they found an ally who agreed to level false allegations.

Given the reports and circumstantial evidences, the lawyer strongly believes that there must have been a different reason for jailing BapuJi and he wants to know why.

The Need to Raise Our Voices Against Injustice

Media in our country is infamous for picking favourites and training their guns against innocent either on the provocation of powerful forces or because big stake holders at the core of such media channels are politically or ideologically aligned to people who have an interest in maligning names and false implicating people for their personal motives and gains.

               

Our innocent BapuJi has fallen victim to such syndicates that are hand in glove with the ruling government and they have an interest in tarnishing Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu's name. Attack after attack has been directed towards Bapu, yet it has failed to break the spirit of truth seekers and those who know and believe in the truth. These are the people we need to learn from and two incidents that have sought to raise voice against injustice and demand the truth are as follows:

1. The December twitter protest

Thousands of BapuJi supporters gathered and raised their voice against corruption and blatant bias against those who have made issues out of nothing for their selfish motives. More than a hundred different examples of bias were mentioned in these tweets, which went to become one of the trending topic on Twitter. Not only is this incident worthy of congratulations, but we must also take a lead out of it and protest against the anti-Hindu mindset of media and lack of action against people like Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tarun Tejpal.

2. Letter to Uttar Pradesh chief minister

In another similar incident protesters gathered around the District Commissioner's office in Allahabad in UP and submitted a letter to  the CM in which they requested that strong action be taken against the CEOs and news anchors of news channels India TV, News Nation and News 24. In the said memorandum, it was mentioned that despite repeated requests, these news channels have failed to tone down derogatory language against AsaramJi Bapu, which caused them untold pain and mental suffering.

Both of these are exemplary incidents which has set the right precedent for the rest of us to take right action against perpetrators of this crime.

Contrasts in how law enforcement and media handled Bapuji case and those of others

Law enforcement forces in a democracy are expected to be impartial and unbiased in their job and for most part they, exceptions arise when strong political forces are at play, calling shots from behind the curtain. Many times in the past we have disparities in the carriage of law and some of these have been very high profile ones that force us to sit up and take cognizance.

Case in point here is Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu the holy Hindu Saint who has done so much for the poor and downtrodden of our nation and yet the media chose to crucify him without looking for reasons or logic, which is not only pathetic and silly but also belittling of our cultural heritage because this is a direct attack on an important religious figure of the nation. In what appears to be a controversy of with an anti-nationalist innuendo, BapuJi was implicated in a false rape cases. The law enforcement swings into action and swoops him up spectacularly. Thereafter, he is confined in jails and subjected to humiliation and hardships that are meted to hardened criminals.

This was just the beginning, soon after media doubled its effort to malign and bring disrepute to the name of AsaramJi Bapu and later even his son. It was clear that anti-BapuJi forces were at play here and media was happily playing second fiddle in spreading false news about Bapu and everyone else connected to him. The aggression which media and law enforcement displayed was extraordinary in many aspects. To begin with media took for granted that Pujya Shree AsaramJi Bapu was guilty and there was nothing to prevent the downfall of an innocent man who is considered a saint by millions of his followers all over the globe. In the days that followed more such false news was spread unstopped. Only recently has the NBSA heeded to these outrageous incidents and pulled the leash on TRP hungry news channels for spreading wrong information. In a very recent case, three news channels, India TV, News Nation and News 24 were taken to task by a family that was falsely portrayed as willing participants of sex rackets and scandals that are totally unfounded and false.

In stark contrast, several criminal cases of similar nature are pending in court that require attention but for reasons best known to law enforcement forces, these cases do not get as much importance as the bogus case against Bapu is getting. One very recent example of this is the Gurgaon Sadhak family case. On 16th December, a family lodged an FIR against three news channels viz: News 24, India News and News Nation for showing morphed video on national TV, implicating them of being involved in salacious scams involving the Bapu. 13(C) POCSO, IPC 469, 471, 120B and 671 IT acts were invoked but no action has been taken against the CEOs of the news channel yet. The question we ask today - why such disparity in carriage of legal action. There is no doubt in our mind that some deep conspiracy is at play against Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu.

Complain fails to move police, Family victimized by media now files fir expecting Justice

In one after another, the turn of events that in the last few weeks has come as a welcome breather for Asaram Ji Bapu supporters and sadhaks. The first of them all was the falling from grace of liar Bholanand and Tripathi followed by the clearing of Narayan SaiJi's name as the absconder and lastly unveiling of the duplicity of evidence planned to be presented against Bapu. But all is not well yet and there are still matters that need clearing up and more attention from law enforcement and media. Recently, three national news channels New 24, India News and News Nation showed doctored content insinuating crimes that Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu had not perpetrated and in the process maligning the name and honour of a family in addition to violating rights of a child!

These grave charges have been brought against the said media channels by a simple sadhak at whose residence his holiness AsaramJi Bapu arrived after a Satsang session for Pag Phera. It must be noted that these three news channels altered a video clip that was recorded in 2 July 2013 and presented it in poor light throughout the day of 12 Dec, 2013.

These channels defiled BapuJi and the entire family of the Sadhak by hinting that they were willing participants in salacious activities. The channels went on to implicate that the women in the family organized sex rackets for BapuJi. This led to untold pain and misery and anguish for the family. Following this the media-victimized family decided to knock at the police's door for justice, but unfortunately the plea was cold shouldered. This cold treatment forced the family to lodge a formal FIR against News Nation, News 24 and India TV for the improper presentation of news and violating rights of a 10 year old girl. The FIR invokes IPC 469, 471, 120B, 671 IT ACT and last but definitely not the least 13(C) POCSO.

It now remains to be seen whether the police will bring in the people accused in the FIR and if it does how long it takes.

India TV does it again twists video out of context - Presents biased perspective on video recorded by Asaramji aide

In the last few weeks we have been seeing too many incidents of the media getting too excited on the case against Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu. Investigative media becomes ridiculous when it surpasses the bounds of logic and does things to get more attention by pushing completely biased information.  

Very recently, it has come to light that India TV jazzed up an unassuming video of BapuJi interacting with his disciples and a young student who was purportedly victimized by Bapu. It is rather amusing how media channels twist things out of context and make them appear like soap operas just to grab eyeballs. In the doctored video AsaramJi Bapu is shown gently touching and pampering the young girl, just as any grandparent with exactly the same feelings that would normally be seen in average Indian families. There was absolutely no grounds for anyone to blow this simple video out of proportion, but a certain section of the media cannot help but show such incidents for more than what they actually are. What we have seen on India TV is just that.

Quite interestingly this incident occurred in the household of a devotee of Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu in presence of the girl’s parents and close relatives. It has further been said that the said video clip was recorded especially on request of the devotee at whose residence BapuJi was present that day. When the MMS went live the family was shocked because women in their family were falsely accused of running sex rackets and prostitution which was untrue. This telecast resulted in embarrassment for the family primarily because neighbours of the unfortunate family began questioning the nature of their relation with Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu. Not to mention this caused immense emotional pain and scarring following which the family finally lodged a complaint against the news channel.

This shows that there is no limit as to how despicable the media can get, assailing devotees of AsaramJi Bapu for TRPs.

Views of His Holiness Swami Nithyanand Maharaj Mahamandaleshwar of Maha Nirvana Akhada on allegations against Asaramji Bapu

The Mahamandaleshwar of Mahanirvani Peet, Guru Swami Nithyanand Maharaj is one who knows about the accusations and allegations brought against AsaramJi Bapu in the recent past and he has studied the case in great depth and possibly there is no one better to comment on recent developments against AsaramJi Bapu. In 2010, Swami Nithyanand Maharaj was implicated in similar sex crimes and was charged under several IPC sections, one of which was 376 (rape) and 377 (unnatural sex). He was kept in judicial custody for 52 days, at the end of that he was acquitted by the court and his driver was charged for conspiracy. In February, 2013 FIRs against him were quashed by Karnataka High Court. He has been through the challenges of living through false allegations and standing up for his rights and then appealing for justice against the plotters who brought disrepute to his name.

On allegations brought against Bapu, Swami has a lot to say and he bases his observations on detailed study of the entire case. In course of his findings he has consulted with medical experts who opined that a minor's skin is very delicate and any physical assault would have left permanent marks on her skin for at least a few days, but these medical experts did not find any mention of such findings on the girl. After 11 long years the accuser comes ahead with her allegations when she should have done so at the earliest. Suddenly after so many years, it suddenly dawns on her that the time is right to seek justice! Isn't this ridiculous? Even the police knows that this case is not going to hold in court.

“I’m not saying that AsharamJi Bapu is above a law...All I am trying to say is, let's have patience till the court takes a review. Even if you believe that something may have happened, keep quite till the courts decide". 

Asaramji Bapu was expecting to be implicated like Sankarcharya Jayendra Saraswati

Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu said on 6th December 2004 that he was likely to be implicated in similar false cases like Kanchi Seers Sankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati. This was said in the wake of the seer's arrest on charges of murder of a manager of the Mutt. AsaramJi Bapu said that his number came after Sankaracharya Jayendra Saraswati. The seer was arrested and jailed for 9 years. At the end of that period it was found that the seers were actually not guilty of the crime that they were accused of initially. It could be more than a coincidence that the very year Sankarcharya was cleared of the crimes, Sant Shree Asaram BapuJi was implicated!

When he talked about this, the year was 2004 and a great Hindu leader was under the cloud of murder. His disciples along with millions of followers around the globe were pained, they had to be guided and kept on the path of truth. AsaramJi Bapu was a beacon of guiding light at that moment and he courageously steered masses back into the path of truth and love and gave them a reason to keep their path. To make his case strong he cited the example of Sai Maharaja who also had similar misfortune not too long before Sankaracharya was brought to book. If one takes a close look at these incidents we will see that there is a trend in the way all spiritual leaders have been implicated. One after the other Hindu leaders has been attacked. The first to have fallen was Sai Maharaj, followed by Sankaracharya and the latest to have faced the same fate is none other than Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu. One would be hard pressed not to find a pattern in all these insinuating manipulation of the law by forces working to malign good names of religious leaders.

Throughout these rough times, BapuJi has always continued spreading his message of peace and love. He said then that everything would become alright soon and he asked his followers to keep faith on the almighty.

Even Learned Law - Keepers Err

No one is above the law and there have been numerous occasions when law and order has blundered. There is no denying the fact that dispensing justice is not the easiest of task and those in the profession of up-keeping law face a gargantuan task in bringing all to task. But when a big miss comes to light one cannot but stand up and take notice of the matter. With the arrest of AsaramJi Bapu and his son, many are invoking the question - could the law have erred?

In a democratic country, we do posses the right to express our opinions without fear of retribution and clearly no one is in violation of those in question developments since His Holiness AsaramJi Bapu was arrested recently. It is noteworthy that there have been lapses here too, but thankfully remedial action has since been taken. It is not lost to public cognizance that prosecutors gunning against Narayan Sai moved the court and obtained a non-bailable arrest warrant which was later absolved by the court considering the fact that an NBW may not be issued to arrest any person, hence all these time Narayan Sai was falsely labelled an absconder. It is quite ridiculous that a section of the press has taken this and blown it out of proportion to such an extent that the general population began taking this falsity for granted. Thankfully, the recent court stand comes as a welcome breather for BapuJi and his family from the continuous onslaught of propaganda spread by detractors of the spiritual leader.

What we are hinting at is the possibility of more blunders by the court and the law. Given the highly motivated and powerful detractors of BapuJi, one cannot completely rule out deeper conspiracies and conspirators at play here. Sant AsaramJi Bapu has been hinting at the possibility of a conspiracy and given his impressive track record of speaking out against powerful and corrupt politicians, he definitely has some very irate and resourceful enemies. When Congress faced a defeating blow in the recent assembly elections, BapuJi commented that the truth will prevail and it has only begun.

If famous dignitaries like Kanchi seers can stay shrouded in clouds of doubt for 9 long years, we would not be surprised if law takes equally long to come out with the truth.

Love and Devotion In BapuJi’s Family Strong As Ever

In the last several months we have seen attacks on His Holiness Asaramji Bapu and his family from many quarters. The most dastardly and maligning  in nature has that been of the media which has sold itself out to some people with vested interest in order to get quick and easy TRPs.  We have come across absurd allegations that have the potentiality of shaking the foundation of even the strongest family, but Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu’s family is no ordinary one.

Those that have seen the true self of the kindly Bapu strike down all the recent media allegations and false cases as absurd and ridiculous. There is no doubt that AsaramJi Bapu’s success and rise as the foremost leader of the masses has displeased many and it is such people who have brought about a tsunami of accusations to deluge and wash away the truth, but little do they know that like the rising sun dispels darkness, the truth about Bapuji will conquer all falsehood. Detractors of Bapu and his family will not be pleased to know this, but what has been happening recently has only made the bond of love and devotion many times stronger and better. Besides, disciples from every nook and corner of the world have poured in their love and dedication to see that the name of Sant Shree Asaramji Bapu is cleared of all rumors.

Followers of the great spiritual leader do not believe in any of the rubbish spread by the paid media and to counter that and protect the name of Bapu and his godly family they have come together in an unprecedented manner. The love is overwhelming and very necessary for the supporters to keep fighting against massive waves of accusations that keep coming one after another.  The recent to have made the rounds in media is that Narayan Saiji, the illustrious and kind son of His Holiness AsaramJi Bapu was running away from the law. Nothing could be further from the truth. Saiji was contemplating with his legal advisors for the best path to collaborate and cooperate with the law because his sole aim was and remains to bring justice to his family and reinstate the sanctity of his family that had been violated by people with ulterior motives.

As the sun rises and conquers darkness, so will the truth defeat falsehood as soon as the law has taken its course. In the meantime, we, the extended family of Bapu need to support him with our love and devotion and not believe in false accusations.

Skewed Media Trials On Spiritual Gurus In India

There seems no end to how trivial and farcical some people can get just for the sake of proving points that are utterly baseless or based on the media that in our nation has never been known to be impartial or honest. For reasons best known to media houses they pick their favourite targets and go a mindless rampage stamping on everything that comes their way making a lot of money at the expense of the public who cannot decide the truth when they are bombarded by barrage of lies and skewed sentences and entirely rubbish rumours. The truth is - THE COURT HAS NOT TAKEN ITS COURSE YET!

Take a moment and think when Sankaracharya of Kanchipuram was implicated in a criminal case that he had allegedly masterminded the murder of the manager of the mutt. The truth took long to come to light, but when it did everyone was glad that truth had finally won. Back then media trials were not so uncontrolled, nevertheless there were serious allegations and the media played its part in maligning two innocent religious leaders of our country. Then again, in very recent memory we have the case of Yoga Guru Ramdev who mistreated by police and later dragged into false accusations because of crime that were supposedly committed by his sibling. One cannot find a better case of misuse of media power.

Similar unfortunate incidents are unfolding before our very eyes and this time media's involvement is quiet aggressive and that has already made it quite difficult for the masses in general to get to the core of the matter and seek the truth. One cannot be expected to see the truth when so many versions and untrue interpretations are making the rounds everywhere.

Disinformation in Media and Truth

As if the disservice done by media to His Holiness Asaramji Bapu was not enough, we are now seeing un-moderated comments on some media websites. This is evident in many news websites. The questions are derogatory to say the least. It ridicules His Holiness Asaramji Bapu's headgear, clothes and his expressions of love and joy that he portrays in his dances. Someone who wished to ridicule Bapu's clothes and dance called it strange. If not for a true follower of the saint, the ridicule would have remained unanswered. Thankfully, someone who was aware of the truth replied and explained that Asaramji Bapu is a saint who travels extensively each day in the heat and there is nothing more comfortable than what he uses as attire. The Bapu is solely interested in bringing love and show the path of truth and there is no need for fine clothes or costly accessories to impress his detractors. His holiness Asaramji Bapu and his son Narayan Saiji render their services unto the lord.

Another misled detractor of Bapuji also picked faults with his dances. To which Bapu's disciple commented - "Dance is an expression for all the people that love and respect him...he actually dances and...smiles on peoples' face" This is the bare truth. Please do not let the media mould your views of the saintly Bapu who has spent his entire life in helping us and offering unconditional love to everybody. #StopMediaTrial and wait until the law has taken its course. 

Differential Treatment of Media - Ceaseless Criticism & Attacks

The nature of the crimes committed makes this sensitive, but what we are about to say had to be said because it springs from questions that have been raised by the multitude who are at loss thanks to the duality shown by law enforcement authorities. Asaramji Bapu did not restrict the course of the law or evade arrest as alleged. He was either indisposed or busy with affairs that could not be avoided. He had to attend the cremation of a relative ion Thursday; moreover the holy saint suffers from a neurological disorder and high blood pressure. Bapu has since co operated completely with the law and his lawyers have ascertained the nation that he will not stand in the way of the law taking its course. The same however, cannot be said of other high profile criminals who have had their way in dealing with the law either because they were politically well connected or very wealthy with access to endless resources.

Ceaseless criticism and attack on Bapuji has come primarily because the saint is an easy target and the media finds targeting high profile individuals beneficial for their TRPs. If the recent crime history of the nation is checked, we will come across hundreds if not thousands of such similar allegations that were handled extremely leniently by authorities and interestingly the media did not seem to mind it then. The moment one dives deeper and compare the unfolding of events with his holiness Asaramji Bapu's case, it becomes evident that the law is not equal for all, or at least some people are allowed to be whimsical in their compliance of the law. Take the case of Tarun Tejpal which is still fresh in public consciousness.

One will recall how it did not take very long for the police to crack down on everything related to Bapu whereas when it came to Tarun Tejpal's case that sense of urgency was missing. Moreover, for someone who compares both cases with an impartial eye will realize that Tarun Tejpal and his entire organization was misogynist. Ex-employees of Tehelka point out that the discrimination against women was officially sanctioned. In stark contrast, Asaramji Bapu had always been an advocate of respect and equality for women. Why is it then one was allowed so many days to roam freely while an aged saint who has rendered limitless service for mankind criticized attending a funeral? This is nothing but differential treatment because revered Asaramji Bapu was an easy target for the media. It's high time that we #StopMediaTrial
