Reacting to his arrest, Sant Shree AsaramJi Bapu commented that
his arrest was nothing but a conspiracy hatched by the ruling government and he
also predicted that people would see through this cheap attempt by the
government to weaken the morale of the opposition by arresting a leading figure
of the nation and a apparently a political opponent to the Congress. To this
Ashok Ghelot, the ex-CM of Rajasthan said that similar things were being said
when Praveen Tagodia was arrested and all the warnings and threats turned out
to be hollow. He further added that last time such empty threats could not
shake a leaf and nothing would come out of current developments either.
Contrary to expectations these time things changed a lot. It not
just shook every leaf, but also uprooted the entire tree from ground up. This
is exactly what BapuJi predicted. The ruling Congress government lost its
mandate, lost trust and finally lost power. One should remember that this is
not just any ordinary political event. The congress was in power for long 15 years
and there was nothing to hint that such a catastrophe was about to unfold. In
the last few months everything turned topsy-turvy. The outcomes were evident
not just at the centre, but also in adjoining states of Rajasthan, Madhya
Pradesh and even in Chattisgarh. The ruling government was already responsible
for innumerable scams and scandals and arresting BapuJi became the proverbial
straw on the camel's back. Detractors of BapuJi should take this as a warning
and rectify their ways. If they choose to tread the path they have been all
these while, chances are that in days to come they will be completely
eradicated from the world of politics.
Time has stood witness to the truth that saints have always
forgiven those that have pained them but perpetrators should refrain from the
shameful act of maligning good name of the respectable guru.
