Judicial rap on prosecution to ensure Pujya Bapuji's welfare and health

Since his imprisonment on September 3rd last year there has been countless cases when Sadhaks and the general public has raised concerns about health and welfare of the Saintly septuagenarian. On many occasions, well-wishers have pointed out to law enforcement authorities about the need for providing a safe atmosphere for the under trials as well as prisoners in general. The Home Department as well as the Health Department has been notified by the high Court to provide answers that have been raised in a complaint filed concerning BapuJi's health.

One will remember that AsaramJi Bapu complained of cold and unhygienic conditions at the cells saying that it was troubling him and he was worried for the lack of medical attention provided to him as well as other prisoners at the Jodhpur Central Jail.

The chief of Home Ministry, The Chief of Health and Welfare along with the DG of Jails and the Jailor of Jodhpur Central Jail were all asked to address the issues raised in the petition. High Court Judge Banwarilal Sharma asked the answers to be presented by 10th February, 2014.

Meanwhile, it must be noted that the court has arrived at a verdict in the second case against Pujya AsaramJi Bapu, but the verdict will be kept private as of now.
