Government Recognizes The Need To Celebrate Matru-Pitru Pujan Diwas

We have seen ground changing moments in recent years that have chartered new course for the nation and many that have derailed the development, but it is the good ones that must be highlighted and appreciated. A Saint who has relentlessly contributed to nation building for the last 40 years is none other than AsaramJi Bapu and his contributions are above and beyond everything else.

The most potent way to empower the nation is by empowering the youth and leading children down the right path. This begins in schools, but traditional schools often miss out on what actually constitutes education in the traditional sense. In stark contrast to western education offered in most modern schools, Bal Sanskar Kendras established by Kind AsaramJi Bapu teaches not only what is necessary to farewell in their worldly endeavours but also to get around moral and spiritual hurdles.

Recent society is plagued by mindless following of western traditions and events by teenagers here in India. The outcome of this has been disastrous with many young women ending up getting pregnant. This had to end and so the ritual of Matru-Pitru Pujan Diwas was initiated. For several years children all around the globe have benefited by worshipping their parents and now government bodies have accepted the fact that indeed there is a lot to learn and take away from ParamPujya BapuJi's instructions.

In a letter to all schools in Raipur, the Inspector of Schools has directed them to organize Matru-Pitru Pujan Diwas and invite parents in the event. This clearly shows that even learned experts of Indian education system know and believe in the need for including the concept of parent worship in school curriculum. This directed was send on behalf of the governor of Chattisgarh which lends even more authority and significance to this matter.

World View on Loving One’s Parents

Param Pujya Shree Asaram BapuJi may have been incarcerated by the Government based on vacuous allegations by the media but his ideas refuse to die down. Matr Pitr Pujan Divas, a day for loving one’s parents is an original conception of our beloved BapuJi and it has met with great applause from all over the world. Religious leaders, political leaders and thought leaders everywhere have resonated similar views, because they understand what BapuJi is trying to accomplish. The world is becoming self-centric, little by little, every day, so much so, that people are forgetting to love their begetters. The same parents who gave them life, cared for them, nurtured them and made them capable of dealing with the harshness that life often throws at us. Matr Pitr Pujan Divas is an appeal to the young men and women all over the globe to come together in showing love to their parents; the most deserving of all.

From ministers like Shree Bhupinder Hooda to Shree Rajnath Singh and film personalities from Bollywood actor Govinda to Arun Govil, have all spoken in praise of the initiative taken by BapuJi and his followers. Religious leaders of Islam like Shree Hamid Chishti of the Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah have spoken in favour of the day that aims to put one’s parents in spotlight by showing affection and pampering them instead of spending time in pursuit of ephemeral ideals like romantic love. Famous devotional music artist Shree Anup JalotaJi said that this message by BapuJi will make our lives beautiful and Congress MP Shree Sanjay Nirupam have welcomed the steps taken by His Holiness BapuJi.

It is clear that the initiative of beloved Asaram BapuJi has gone down well with all quarters of the society and it sure looks like this day is going to be a great success.

Lessons in Sanatana Dharma

Pujya Shree AsaramJi Bapu and his teachings have been compared by his disciples as sacred manna from the heaven and one of those many is his lesson on the greatness of Sanatana Dharma.

Pujya Shree told his disciples told that Sanatana Dharma is an ancient religion that is not only followed in this world but also in other planes of existence. This great religion was followed by enlightened men, emperors and kings since time immemorial. Different religions have come to existence and ended but Sanatana Dharma has remained consistent and has shown the path to advancement and progress to entire humanity for ages. Sanatana Dharma have existed in the heart of every human being in the form of eternal truth. Awakening of the eternal truth shows man the path to eternal bliss. The closer a person is to the truth, the happier he is going to be and more likely to awaken dormant powers by connecting with Absolute Consciousness.

Instead of doing that the modern man is busy aggrandizing his person and seeking material wealth and bliss that eventually lead him away from real happiness and make him sadder by the day. Even worse is the sad fact that man still run after these futile goals hoping to be gratified but unfortunately that is just not the case. In doing that the individual loses his own self and drifts further away from his Supreme self.

Pujya BapuJi teaches his students that anyone who has attained his own inner self is the one who has attained supreme happiness. It is the truth of nature that every man and woman who has come to this world will eventually be consigned to flames and those who did nothing but indulge in material pursuits is the biggest loser because he loses not only all of his material possessions but also the precious time of his life that he or she could have used to attain Eternal Peace.

Thus those who have listened and imbibed the precious teachings of the Saint will be have not only made his life better but also would have accumulated invaluable nuggets for his or her personal life. Lessons such as these taught by our revered Pujya Shree are very necessary at a time such as these when anti-nationalistic forces are trying to tear apart the fabric of unity woven together by great Saints of our nation.
