Moving Powers Against Hindu-Drohi Media

Our democracy is a great country which has always treated all its citizens with equality and ensured equal rights for all. There has been very few incidents that can be treated as exception to this, but when that happens, history has recorded reactions that forced oppressors to rectify their mistakes and mend their ways.

The current situation regarding AsaramJi Bapu is no exception. In the last few months there has been attack after attack in Hindu saint for no fault and on top of that the media has brought about untold harm by dishing out lopsided false information.

With the exception of a few, there has been close to no voice seeking the truth until now. In what appears to be unprecedented, thousands of Sadhaks used Twitter to lodge a strong protest against paid media and biased law enforcement forces that have dealt several blows 'under the belt'. This incident happened in such a large scale that media houses tool notice of it reported about it.

In another closely related incident, protesters gathered around the District Commissioner's office and presented a memorandum requesting the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to action against these media channels and bring culprits to book.

Meanwhile, we must remember to be cautious about believing in news articles presented in media. Some powers with vested interests are at play and they have very good reasons to see our beloved BapuJi behind bars. In protest against those, let us decide not to watch such news channels and logde strong protests through social media channels like Twitter and Facebook.
